Over the years Paratex medical and its bag manufacturing company Parastar bags has had literally hundreds of clients that we had to turn away because as a manufacturer we were simply not able to produce smaller volumes of our CPR Face shields or Key Chains. Recently we added two new lines to our plant and some extra printing capacity, this has allowed us to now offer these products in both low and high volume. As an opening deal we have created a simple approach for companies who require small or large volumes with their own logos printed on the key chains.

This approach adopts a no hassle no hidden costs policy where the client is offered a full package at one set price which includes shipping, we offer 4 options ranging form units with a very low minimum of 100 units to bulk purchases with prices as low as $0.70 for the face shield and Key chain, allowing clients from all levels of supplies to enjoy appropriate pricing.

We hope that this new service will help smaller businesses who have not yet in the past had access to their own branding and opportunity to do so and grow

We at Paratex Medical are proud to announce a new partnership that brings new products to our current product range. These products tie into both our main business operations as well as our packaging subsidiary; Easy Print Pack.

The new range consists of high quality medical sterilisation packaging, which are CE registered and abide by FDA Requirements. We envisage this packaging and plant machinery to be integrated into our operations within the next month.

The packaging consists of a number of different types of packaging suitable for sterilization using Gamma Ray, Ethylene Oxide, or Steam methods. They will assist us in co-ordination of OEM and ODM manufacturing.

We believe that the introduction of these products and the partnership between our factories will help to enhance our business and we will continue to seek new relationships with companies who can offer us products that add value to our business.

We have been asked by a number of clients why would we launch our new high production mouth-to-mouth resuscitation device at a time when the CPR guidelines have changed and mouth-to-mouth is no longer the choice in treatment to be performed during normal CPR.

The purpose of this post is to explain that although the AMA (American Heart Association) and the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation published new guidelines in 2010 giving more importance to CCC (Continuous Cardiac Compressions); where the rescuer only performs chest compressions and does not give mouth-to-mouth ventilations, that mouth-to-mouth ventilations are still performed in certain circumstances such as in infants or situations where artificial respiration is required, drowning or any situation where there is respiratory arrest, it is also noted that in the UK, The UK Resuscitation Council advocates the use of artificial respiration on children.

There will be some time where previously trained individuals will still use knowledge that they have already learned, also not all countries have adopted these new guidelines. We at Paratex produced a new high capacity plant late in 2010, various government legislation still makes it law to have these items in business first aid kits. We still have had many clients point out the new guidelines. Allow me to just point out that possibly the name of the device is a bit misleading the so- called CPR face shield, perhaps needs a bit of a new name as it is here to stay, Its not only and never was only a CPR device.

Its original purpose remains the same to provide a physical simple mechanical barrier between the rescuer and the patient during artificial respiration. Many companies have over the years made special claims alluding to the fact that the device can prevent aid and Hepatitis and other airborne diseases. This is simply not the case we make no such claims the device is a simple contact barrier with unidirectional flow that allows the rescuer to maintain some distance from direct contact and protection from simple excretions.

I found and attached a video that explains the CCC a bit better as it is not the real purpose of this post, rather I’d like to allay any fears that the device is dying and we can confirm sales of these devices has increased over the past several months.

Paratex Medical has undergone so many changes lately that we felt it was time for a complete overhaul of our websites. We have introduced more services and a larger product offering over the past two years as we expended our business in China, we have dropped some non performing products and replaced them with new ones. Since the opening of our factory In China we have experience a phenomenal growth rate.

We do apologize to our clients, for any inconvenience caused during this time of upgrade and we assure you that although we may have reshuffled our cards, our deck is strong, we will be back to normal shortly.

Paratex Medical’s offer basket was filled with new services, as some clients may be aware we started our packaging department. Over the years we have had many clients looking for OEM packaging for their medical products with their own brands printed on items ranging from plasters to metal boxes. This need brought us closer and closer to the decision to create an entirely new entity dealing solely with printing, packaging and machinery for this purpose. Currently our packaging offerings are huge and we see this new department as being supportive towards our main medical business.

We have had our share of problems with our old websites where crucial contacts were being lost through poorly designed and run systems, This trend had to stop and we are very happy with the result, we have exciting plans ahead for our clients, with new back-end systems more functionality to follow.
